Eligibility

Ages 15 – 30 years | All genders

This national platform recognizes excellence in leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, career excellence, and social impact among youth.

Important Application Guidelines

Applicants must carefully review the following before submitting:

  1. All information provided must be true, accurate, and verifiable.
  2. School category applicants must attach a compulsory letter from the Principal and must be currently enrolled in school at the time of nomination.
  3. Past pupils are not eligible for the school category.
  4. All applications must be submitted in Word or PDF format only.
  5. Judges will review applicants’ social media presence as part of evaluation. Locked or private accounts may result in disqualification.
  6. Award recipients must be present in person at the ceremony to receive the award.
  7. Members of New Generation Sri Lanka will receive an additional 10 points for demonstrated service toward youth empowerment.
  8. If nominating another individual, prior consent must be obtained from the nominee.

Ability to inspire others, take responsibility, and demonstrate leadership in any environment (school, workplace, or community).

2. Innovation & Creativity 15

Original thinking, problem-solving ability, and contribution of new ideas, systems, or creative outputs

3. Impact & Contribution 20

Measurable positive impact on community, industry, peers, or society at large.

4. Commitment & Consistency 15

Level of dedication, discipline, long-term engagement, and sustained performance over time.

5. Integrity & Character 20

Ethical behavior, transparency, professionalism, and alignment with positive social values.

6. Professional Networking 10

Inspiring New Generation members to drive economic growth and contribute to national GDP development.
