WINSPIRATION was launched in 2022 by New Generation Sri Lanka as the country’s first professional youth mentorship programme, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world opportunities.

The initiative was created with a clear purpose: to guide young individuals in navigating pathways to employment and entrepreneurship, while broadening their exposure to opportunities beyond traditional education. By connecting youth with experienced mentors, industry leaders, and global perspectives, WINSPIRATION empowers participants to build confidence, skills, and direction for their future careers.

Since its inception, nearly 200 students have successfully completed the programme. Many of these participants have gone on to secure employment and internships through the strong networks and mentorship support provided by WINSPIRATION.

Importantly, the programme has played a transformative role in creating access and inclusion. It has opened doors for youth from rural areas and state universities, enabling them to connect with the private sector and international leaders—opportunities that may have otherwise remained out of reach.

Today, WINSPIRATION continues to grow as a platform that nurtures talent, builds meaningful connections, and shapes the next generation of leaders in Sri Lanka and beyond.
